A L7 can be had for around $200, and nothing in it's price range even compares to it, and with his budget he could even get 15 in L7's which would surely kill a pairs of 05 xxx's

i dont see a XXX keeping up with a BTL on the mic in the correct setup and proper power to both.

as Jntar i believe said.....quite a few L7's (even a solo x) can be used for SQ in the right app.

WTF???? Whatever JL's high end woofer is. W7, 13, whetever it is. It is an outstanding SQL sub. Also, Sacramento doesn't speak very highly of a person.

Although, you have to take that with a little grain of salt...most of those front stages could get along just fine without a sub of any kind, and the L7's job is a pretty easy one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Not a lot of output and a very low Xover point...

but sound quality would be a different story
