im not going off the max, i figured if i had 2 subs with 1000w max combined the rms would be around half which would be good an amp that is 1000 2 channel. If that doesn't sound right or isn't please correct me. im not an expert which is why i am here lol

The amp is garbage man. You want a mono block for subs anyway.........

What about a JBL GTO154 with a Atrend LSV ported box on a 500w amp? Ive been eyeballing this set up for a while

because you want ported you need an amp with a subsonic filter which makes it a little harder.

this is probably your cheapest and best bet

that sounds good. i have look at sq subs before. but before i post this im apologizing but i have an old sony xplod thats 250w which is prob junk along with my pyramid 1000w i can use one of those until later

what kind of music do you listen to? because my alpine amp does 400@2 but doesn't have a subsonic filter but you don't really NEED a subsonic filter unless you listen to really low music
