Subs Popping?

Alright so I have a Massive Audio p1000.1 Mono block With two 10'' Massive audio RW 400w RMS DVC 4Ohm subs hooked up, wired down to 1Ohm. For a while everything was fine, but now whenever my deck is on(Sony Xplod gtx130) my subs will continuously make an off beat popping/scratching noise and its not just when the deck turns on but even when im playing music itll start to do that. When the subs start to do this ALL the lights in my car begin to flicker as if my car is going to die. And for the first time yesterday i saw smoke coming from my amp so i shut everything off. The Fuse by my battery isnt blown and the amp doesnt have a fuse to it. If it matters my car is an 05 Dodge neon. My gain is not even halfway, my LPF is at 110~120, Subsonic is on and around 30, Bass boost is at 0. My deck settings for HPF and LPF are both off as well as mids, highs and lows all at 0. The ground is sanded down to the chassis. Today i had the gain at maybe 1/4 of the way and everything was fine until i got home, turned the gain up back to where it normally was(below 1/2) and it did it again, and i continued to watch my sub movement as the popping happened and the popping was causing one to stick out and they just didnt move like they normally would. like the left one would stick out and the right one wouldnt. I dont know how to really explain it but they just weren't on the same beat if that makes sense. I dont know really know where to start since im still kinda new in the car audio world. I'm also going to pick up a DMM today, even though i should've had one from the start. Sorry that its a lot lol.

pull that amp out,and if its under warranty, send it in..shut it down before your car smokes next..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Its not under warranty anymore //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif. The amp has a protect mode on it, and it went into protect when i had a bad ground before, so it wouldnt because of this problem thats occurring if it is the amp?

by your description of the smoking issues,im pretty sure its the amp..take it out now,and may not cost as much to get it repaired,as if you continue to power it up.massive makes some pretty good stuff, may be cheaper to get repaired than buying a new one?? get better internals installed also

after smoking/shutting down,i wouldnt waste my time going through this process..just pull it out before the car catches fire over night while you are sleeping,as it is not fused
So basically if you have an amp without a fuse don't use it? Cause my Orion 2500d doesn't have any fuses, but yet the amp has GREAT reviews from what I had seen.

wHAT?????????? WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?? THIS GUYS GOT AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE TO WHERE HIS AMP SMOKED ON HIM.AND ITS STILL POWERING UP..WITHOUT IT BEING POWERED WITH A FUSED DIST BLOCK,AND THE AMPS FUSES ARENT BLOWING AS THEY SHOULD,HES RUNNING A RISK OF POSSIBLY BURNING THE PLASTIC/RUBBER JACKET OF THE POWER WIRE ALL THE WAY TO THE BATT /UNDER CARPET ECT,AND ARKING TILL THE FUSE ON THE BATT BLOWS,IN WHICH MAY BE A 200,IN WHICH BY TIME THAT JOKER ACTUALLY BLOWS, CARPETS ON FIRE/POSSIBLY THE ENTIRE CAR?????????AND THE DIST BLOCK FUSED TO THE AMP SHOULD BLOW RIGHT THERE??SAVUNG THE EXPENSE AND TIME OF RUNNING NEW POWER WIRE TO THE LEAST..I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND YOUR QUOTE OTHER THAN A RISK OF THE SAME ISSUE WITH YOUR POWER SUPPLY INSTALL?? HAVE WE BEEN DRINKING?OR ON CRACK????//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

From the PDF manual the only massive amp that needs a fuse on the actual amp was the p500.1. But anyways I'm gonna get it checke out on Sunday and see whats going on. I mean I turned the gain at 1/4 again and it shows no signs of smoke or the subs hitting off beat and making that weird noise or making all the lights flicker. But I'm gonna disconnect the system til Sunday so I know for sure what is going on cuz I'm not trying to damage anything If not more than I already have lol. If it makes a difference the fuse by the battery is an 80 amp fuse.
