Would running two 10" swr-1043d's at 1 ohm each ruin the sub in anyway? Help a noob out, I'm just now getting into the hobby so all help is appreciated!

No it won't hurt them at all. They are dual 4 subs and can wire down to 1 ohm together. Just as long as your amp is 1ohm stable

Okay awesome! I checked on my amp it will do 1200 stable, just didn't want to hurt the subs. Is there a particular box that will sound best with the type r's?
