Subs not working, help please.

As long as you do not go under 2ohm it should be fine! Is this the first time you are installing the system?

if the rcas on the amps are good the next step is trying new rcas. then work ur way back to the h/u outputs. hopefully thats not the case.

hopefully not, I have my front stage hooked up and it works fine, its powered with a seperate amp, but uses identical RCA that came in by dual amp kit. So hopefully I won't have to dig back too far.

even if thats the case the outs on the hu for the sub output, try a high/low converter tapped to the rear speaker wires.

Try switching the RCA's on the back of the HU. Instead of running them from the Sub output to the mono amp...switch to the front or rear rca output on the hu, to the mono amp and see it works then. Theu sub rca output on the HU maybe bad...

should work. sounds like your amp is not getting a signal to put out to the subs.

check your rcas, or high level inputs?

Does your HU have a subwoofer control? Make sure is on and turned up...

check your HU and make sure your sub output is on then check your rca's on the back of HU I had my rca's to tight one time and was messing with it and pulled the connection out of the HU

yeah it should work.....check fuses, grounds, connections, and use butt connectors, you're trying to get fancy by soldering the connections, but your set-up isn't even working right now, so use butts.

I will give all these a try this afternoon starting at the amp then RCA's then head unit. I appreciate all the advice, will update when I figure out what it is.

does it matter if I use posiive or negative speaker wire to wire the subs. I used positive for all positive connections and to jump from positive to negative on the speaker, and negative wire for all negative connections, you can see my diagram in post #1 for a visual representation, is that the correct way to wire?

Your pics looks right for 2.67ohm....

Stay with proper polarity......As long as you wire them to the proper OHM you will be fine.

Re-check and make sure of that!
