My subs are not moving or making any kind of noise. I tried hooking them up last night and I got nothing. My amp seems to be ok, has power and everything.

Attached is a picture of how I have my subs wired, is this right? Where else should I look for something wrong.

Thanks

what are the subs dual 2 dual 4 and what is ur total ohm u tryin to get? is the amp stable to handle ur load?
they are dual 4 ohm, 3 subs = 2.67 ohms.

My amp is 600 watts at 2 ohms, I asked before I bought it and was told that the difference between 2.67 and 2 would hardly be noticeable.

What are the subs ohms?....2 ohm or 4 ohm? What is ohm impedance of the amp you are using to push them?...pm me if u need help, I am right in Altamonte/Orlando area I can come look at it.-----Sean

it should run ur subs. no sound or movement from subs means no signal somewhere. check if ur amps are really getting its power both the remote and the power or if the led on amp turns on. if u had a signal generator you could track this down qwick. check ur rca inputs on the amps just unplug from the amp and plug in a lineout from a walkman , cdman, or mp3 player while the amp is powered up. you should be able to get some sound from that. if not u have ur issue.

What exactly are you having re-wired?
I meant I am having all the connections of the wires soldered instead of just connected with wire butts.

dual 4 ohm, 2.67 total load, amp is 2 ohm stable. Should work right?

amp is getting power, its digital controls and its all lit up and I can change the controls and everything. I will try the RCA trick and see if that is the problem.

Thanks

As long as you do not go under 2ohm it should be fine! Is this the first time you are installing the system?
