subs for my truck

i run a f150 supercrew 2001

i have pioneer headunit with door speakers that are amped..

and im looking to finish my system

i was recommended to this box/sub setup

with 2 ID 10 subs

i want it to hit pretty nice and low and sound awesome

is this a good setup or do i have better options?

should i build a box instead?

how loud do these ID subs get,etc?

friend has an 08 f150 supercrew cab with a probox with 2 8in probox subs underneath the back seat, suprisingly they get pretty loud, i mean not like i can hear him all way down the block type thing but they hit pretty good(rearview mirror vibrates) wouldnt personally buy a probox unless i got really lazy, but the box with the subs sounds really clean to my ear. just a thought.

If you are looking to have good SQ then yes the ID 10s are good.

Also look into RD Classic 10s, RE SE 8s (i know a guy that has a 2008 f150 super crew cab that has 8 RE SE 8s lol), DD 1508s or 1510s

last time i called DD a few weeks ago they said the 1508s would not work in a sealed enclosure

Yea i wanted to run those in my truck too. But would be impossible unless i lifted the seat and glassed my own box

i'd tune to 32hz an it says on dd website to give it 1 cube 16 sq " of port

ok so 2 cubes total im new to ported so will the port itself add to the dimension of the box? and what about port placement

ported would add to the dims. even more so tuning to 32hz. im pretty sure these fall under spl. they'll get loud but they'll sound good doing it.

those would be fine for an sql application. granite the tuning an dims of the box are correct for that.

what i said earlier. 32hz an 1 cube per sub. there's a lot of ppl on here that can make a design for u an a lot of ppl that could make the box for u an prob sell it around 150 give or take depending on everything. so just post a thread asking for someone to make a truck box design for u an hopefully some ppl will help u out with that.

u no i have no clue. i was watchin a vid of them on youtube an the guy said he got em 150 each. but i dont think thats there price brand new. if nobody tells u on here how much they cost just see who's the closest dealer to you from the DD website an give them a call.
