Subs don't play as loud as they should

Niiiice. Now I need a vid.
Ill get one soon,I need get the amp board made up, and Clean the wiring up a bit. Will be getting Metered this yr for sure,I think I finally found the 4 amps that are staying in,after running several, lol.Patience my man, patience, lol

I know these 8s aren't going to be super loud or anything but from what I have seen they should still put out some good bass. Way more than they have been I think
You should AT LEAST be able to shake your mirror with those and that amp. Otherwise there's something else wrong. Cuz even when I had my 2 dd 1508s I could drop the rearview on the highs. Not so much on the lows but still.

So you'd recommend the 4480? I'm looking for a amp or amps that will do at least 4500 watts halfway efficiently for the future. Lol look at the power I'm doing now in my Sig. My subs need like 2000rms each and I'm doing like 500 each..... MAYBE.

New box has subs forward firing and an aero port out the side . It's going to be 1.37 ^3 tuned at 32 .
That should work good for them.

MAYBE.Yes sir..Those 4480.1d get down ,and run pretty cool doing it,worth the money spent,I have the 150.4 mini hybrid as well, but still running my old school Autotek Mean Machine 99 @2ohms, and an Autotek BTX 7204 atm.

Id run it,and see how she does..lots better than your existing enclosure set up

It was mounted behind the box to the floor so I'm not sure what caused the problem
Id run it on the back firewall up a bit high to get some air.Have the big 3 done? good Battery/batteries?Your electrical plays a Big part for the systems/amps needs

Big three is done but I'm starting to question my battery so that is next. That box I'm going to build is only half the space under the seat so I was going to mount the amp on the other side of the ***** tunnel on an amp rack I'm building. Think it will be ok there ?

Thanks. I know a guy that has a dd1 so as soon as I get the amp back he is gonna tune it for me
Perfect! Get those subs in a proper box now, and you will be surprised at how those little guys can get down //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Was it mounted pretty good? Like were the bolts really tight to keep it from rattling? Cuz my buddy had his amp mounted the same way in his suv and the screws worked loose eventually and he didn't think to tighten em and he blew his amp like that. But if its not even shaking your mirror I doubt its shaking your floor so that's prolly not it..... Sorry had this typed up and forgot to click post. Haha

If its not somewhere well ventilated or where it can get rid of that hot air, get a computer fan or two, (like 5-10$ on amazon) and put that under your amp on your amp rack. Just keep the back of the fan clear so it can move air well. Like obviously don't just screw it down to a sheet of mdf where it won't be able to pull through any air. Will keep it waaayyyy cooler so you'll never have to worry bout heat and they dont cost much or take much electricity.
