Subs cut out, smoke coming from trunk.

Advance Auto Parts website says it won't fit, but when I go pick it up tomorrow I will check since it is free installation.

If it doesn't fit under the hood, can I just put in in the trunk and keep the stock battery up front? How would I wire everything together?

yellow tops are rather versatile batterys they come with a lot of brackets to raise them and bolt them down as well as being both top and side post it should fit.

So just replacing the stock battery with the Optima up front will solve my voltage drop problems? Along with of course doing the Big 3... What all do I need to buy besides 1/0 gauge wire and ring terminals?

I would think it would fit if not I would make it fit a little thinking about it and placing it different directions you should be able to get it under there I have mine in a corolla all I had to do was add the lid to the bottom to raise it and flip it around to get the terminals on the right sides and there's wiggle room around it, I think it will drop right in unless that car runs on a tiny little battery but I dought it.

you could really do the big three in 4g since all the runs are rather short, and yes you will see a big difference just to make sure you can ohm load test every lead you run to ensure no high ohm loads"bad connections" across each line thats how I decided to run the risk of NOT running a fuse from the alt + output to the battery + output, when I first did the big three I noticed no big difference but after removing the fuse then replacing the two fused pieces with a solid run I noticed a big difference, then I added the optima and now it's good to go with a 16mc2000d and a T600.2 on a stock 70amp alt and no real dimming.

Sorry for all the questions, but should I be good with 0 gauge crimps or should I use 0 gauge ring terminals and solder the wire into the terminal? I do have some extra 4 gauge lying around, but I would rather go as big as possible to ensure I don't ruin any of my equipment again.

Do I need to upgrade the posts on the Yellowtop with any terminals or do I just hook the ring around the posts and tighten the bolt down on it?

I know dumb questions, but I have never done anything with my electrical.

well I solder my connections on but you will need a small torch and vise grips and heat away from where your feeding the solder from don't force it until it flows easy and yes it's normal for the end of the wire casing to get a little hot but this is why you heat as far from it as possible until the heat works up the terminal also clean all parts real well before you start, as for connecting it to the battery what ever looks good should work I don't know what your terminals look like mine have a 10mm nut/bolt that I run off of but you can use the side post and some short bolts whatever looks best.

na man I buy stuff like that local as needed, and I haven't needed any in years as a matter of fact I have another RF 4g kit here that A friend let me have for replacing it with a scosche 8g kit it's missing about two feet but 16' of power and 4' of ground and since I had to remove it throwing the smaller wire back was easy.
