Subs are cutting off, Can someone help me please?

hmm your amp doesnt look like its 1ohm stable.......and if you have 3 subs all wired in parallel your gettin a 1ohm load on that amp......try to wire everything in series? id ha ve to see it to tell ya sorry thats all i can say

edit: turn the gains downn on your amp a little your amp is def goin into protect mode

i took one sub out and covered the hole with two in thick wood its hittin but i still wanna run three so anything u know would help

I've been running 2 kicker 4ohm CVRs and 1 mtx 4ohm blue thunder with a 2000 watt mono boss amp. The mtx blew so i went and bought another kicker, hooked it up just as the mtx was hooked up, and now, the subs are cutting off after 10 seconds of playing. The amp isn't hot. I need some help if anyone has some time. Thanks!

OP, you got a few issues here. Your are running mixed subs on mixed coils, That MTX is only a single coil @ 4 ohms, those CVR's are dual coils at 4 ohms each. I looked around and CVR are all DVC. You need to get one more CVR or get rid of that box and get a box for only two subs. WIth that being said, YOur amp WILL NOT be able to handle the 1 ohm load. which means that you will be forced to only wire it at 4 ohms with 2 subs, or 2 ohms with one sub.... Then you would need and even smaller box for only one sub. Either way you got issues buddy. junk the MTX and maybe ditch that amp for a better one and have a nice box made for two Kickers then. Oh, don't forget to make sure that amp IS 1 OHM stable... and beef up the power wires too.
