From experience, type-r's hit the lows quite nicely but didn't seem to have the upper range I would've wanted so i switched. Wish I had a chance to run a 12" Q from what I'm hearing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I say try the R anyway. I had 2 10"s so idk if my experience applies to what you want, as far as sound is concerned.

In the market for a new sub, do you know what these are geared toward? sq/spl wise and what do they compare to? does anybody know. Just checked their site and looks pretty sweet, specs are not bad either.
