If a dual voicecoil sub is running off an amp that is let's say 350x2 at 4ohm, does that mean the sub RMS rating is at 350 or at 700 rms?
I will be entirely dependant on the combination of the specific voice coil configuration for the DVC sub in question, the way those coils are wired in relation to one another, and the mode your amp is run in (4 ohm stereo, 2 ohm stereo, or bridged 4 ohm mono)Lol, thanks for the help. I should be clearer I guess. If a DVC sub is rated at 750watts RMS & I have an amp pushing 375x2, is that going to work? Is the 375x2 adding up to the 750RMS or am I only giving the sub 375?
