Got a PR 1000.1 memphis amp
Got a M3122D 400 continous RMS
I wired it at 1 ohm and turned the gain low.
I then measured my amp with a test tone and voltometer. the voltomoter said the amp was pushing 20 volts at low. I thought that sounded high for volts at low. i then pushed the gain up a TINY bit and it read 46 volts. now according to the gain tutorial:
sqrt(amp wattage*ohms) but that would mean with my gain Way Way low it would still be pushing 2116 watts reading 46 volts! I set the voltometer to AC at 250. I think this thingy (voltometer) is broke. Any ideas?
