Power acoustik a3000db true power ratings?

Can anyone shed some light on exactally what this amps puts out? I have mixed feelings from readings here and there. I have read good things, that they do put out rated power. I have also read that it only puts out 1300watts@1ohm //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif. Im thinking about getting one, but a little confused from the reads. Thanks for the input...

What scared me was when i read it only puts out around 1300watts@1ohm...

There was a bench test posted on a different forum a while back that, from what I can remember, confirms tapout's numbers.

no idea if it will do .5 ohms, but .7 ( 2 dual .7 ohm subs wired to .7 ohms) works 100%. wouldnt be surprised if .5 ohm works too.

i should mention his amp is about 2 years old or so. dont know if the new ones can do the same thing.

i have one thats about less than half year old and its at .8 ohms doimg awesome

i have nothing to compare it to but i think its a great budget amp

and if you want more in the future and wanna stay with this amp you can strap two together
