sup people

i've been out of the car audio scene for a minute, but im getting a new custom 10" sub box for my new car that has .75 cubic feet of airspace, and i just wanted to know if u guys could recommend a few 10" subs for this airspace. i have a 600rms amp. the box is a sealed box. i prefer SQ over SPL, but have an appreciation for both. it is going in a 350z (hatchback). all suggestions are welcome.

thanks

Do you have a budget?

A few I would consider are the FI Q 10, Stereo Integrity BM 10, or Crystal CMP 10.

If you are on a tight budget maybe look into the Mach5Audio MAW-10's.

let's say i wouldnt mind spending for quality, but i'm not gonna be in competition or anything. what's most important is that i get a good and reliable sub. but then again i dont wanna spend over $300, and i think a nice 10" sub can easily be had under $300 due to the wonderful internet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

How about the Kicker CVX10? Its minimum airspace is .80, but I think you could get away with .75 and some polyfill. Ill let someone else chime in on that thought, im still a noob.

ed's amps are great amps, I've owned a Nine.1 and a Nine.4

Their subs, however, have been said to have problems IIRC

Anywho, if you want to get off cheap and see if you need to upgrade later, my vote is a Polk MoMo 10, the 10 that I own gets sufficiently loud and the quality on it was tons better than I had ever expected

If you want to spend your 300 dollars, I'm sure someone will put you onto a SQ woofer

the cvx 10 would be an awesome choice. loud and clean, they are a great sub.

soundsplinter rl-i 10. it'll take 600wrms and love ya. doesn't need it, but will take it. and for $300, you can **** near get two....

do u guys know the mounting depth of the subs u suggested? with the box im getting they cant be deeper than 7". here's a list of your suggestions:

1. Kicker cvx 10

2. soundsplinter rl-i 10

3. Diamond D6

4. Fi Q

5. Stereo Integrity BM 10

6. Crystal CMP 10

7. Mach5Audio MAW-10

if u know the depth, just respond with the correct number and it's depth. but im off to find the manufacturer's web sites to check for myself.

hey, hope you don't mind if i tag along with this thread. i have a 350Z also but using a different box... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/350z-Sub-Subwoofer-Box-Enclosure-2-10-w-AMP-RACK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ38647QQihZ019QQitemZ290044724269QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW are you using the Zenclosures box for one 10? the mounting depth is a lot larger for the 2 10's if you decide you can't use the sub you want. so far i'm thinking of using the kicker zx1000.1 to power 2 10's but not sure which yet...maybe the kicker cvx's? if you already have the box let me know how it looks and if you get it hooked up please let me know if it's worth it. at first i was thinking about the JL stealth box but it's not worth the money...

can anyone give me sites for soundsplinter products, diamond D6, and Crystal CMP?

yeah man, i'm looking at getting the single 10" box from ZEnclosures on ebay. i had a single 10" 600rms Audiobahn sub in my 300zx on my 600rms JBL bp600.1 amp, and it was plenty of bass for me. so ima stick with 1 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

but im a lil rusty on ohms and what not. for instance.... will my amp, which does 600rms at 2ohms and 300rms at 4ohms, work correctly for a RL-i 10 (300rms) , which is dual 4 ohm voice coil?
