Shattered the face of my P3!

Well during the install of all my new equipment, I managed to shatter the plastic-like face of my 1 day old 12"-RF-P3. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

Has anyone had any luck in just glueing, fiberglassing, or taping up such holes in their laminated plastic type subs?

The area damaged is about 3 inches by 3 inches, and all the pieces are still in-tact, just shattered like a window.

Is this sub worth sending to someone to get fixed, or should I just go spend some $'s and get something else?

Well, here comes the dumb*ss of the year award winner......

I left the boxes full of the rest of my components in the trunk along with the unprotected rear facing sub-box, and proceded to take an 80 mile trip. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smash.gif.499e08a4a35ffaf54f4c8194fb8fe8ed.gif

I guess the alpine speakers weren't happy that I didn't match them up with their family of Alpine sub, so they ganged up on it and trashed it.

It still sounds fine, and the cracks don't seem to be growing. I guess I could glue and tape it up till I get something better.

Anybody got any fav's for 12" SQ type subs under $200? 1 CuFt. sealed box, being pushed by 400 to 700 watts RMS 2ohm.

I know a friend that did the same thing to his with some golf clubs that where back there with it. How much do you want to spend and I might be able to get you his good one. Its a Dual 4.
