it's been so long since i've been in the car audio scene but i'm pretty sure that dual 4 ohms can be wired in parallel down to 2 ohms on an amp. please let someone correct me if i'm wrong. if one 10 has plenty of bass then just think about 2 10's with 1000rms hahha...now that's just fun.

yeah man, i'm looking at getting the single 10" box from ZEnclosures on ebay. i had a single 10" 600rms Audiobahn sub in my 300zx on my 600rms JBL bp600.1 amp, and it was plenty of bass for me. so ima stick with 1 10 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
but im a lil rusty on ohms and what not. for instance.... will my amp, which does 600rms at 2ohms and 300rms at 4ohms, work correctly for a RL-i 10 (300rms) , which is dual 4 ohm voice coil?

What about an AA Arsenal 10? 5.75" mounting depth and .7^3 sealed. A very solid SQL sub worth looking at.

are you saying you want to run the amp at 2ohms or 4 ohms?? i would run it at 2ohms if it's rated for it...just be careful not to distort the speaker. you need the dual 2 ohms speaker to run the amp at 1 ohm or 4 ohms

and the dual 4 ohms speaker can be wired to either 2 ohms or 8 ohms on the amp. so i think you should go with a dual 4 ohm speaker and wire the voice coils in parellel to get the 2 ohm load. if you need some help let me know because i just took myself through a quick refresher of circuits

btw, i just purchased the kicker zx1000.1, two kicker 10 cvx's, and a box from Zen enclosures. hopefully i'll get it all in by thanksgiving...still need to do something about the midrange though. any advice?

fun car...the only bad thing is the more i add in weight of car audio equipment i have to get modifications for the car to increase the power...all evens out in the end except for my wallet
