Sub recommendation 1 12"

Alright so i finally have the funds to purchase a sub. I've got my cadence TXA-1000D amp that i want to use with whatever sub i do go with. It does 1000 watts at 1-Ohm, or 650 watts at 2-Ohms. What would be the best sub to go with? Mind you this is going into my civic and will defiantly be going into a ported box. Listen to a lot of rap but some times other stuff like rock. Also want it to be 1 12" sub.

Subs i have been thinking of:

Rockford T1

Re Audio Se

Give me some more recommendations and what wattage you think that sub can handle.

i did a cadence txa 1000 in a 4 dr 2003 civic

i could not find 1 place to mount amp cause it is huge

had to mount to box

The SX off 1000 watts would be a good choice.

Mach 5 IXL 12.2 are like $190 new I think

IA has some good subs as well

alpine type R you could get on here for 90 shipped...rated at 500 rms but ive seen them take well over a 1000 daily....alpine type X would be the same thing with better sql and less boom... i just got a diamond audio d9 d2 for 170 on here that is rated at 1000 and i plan on giving it about 1500

Well i think i am going to be going with a SX12D2 in a 2cuft box tuned to 33Hz. Only reason i like this sub is RE recommends a small box and since i dont have a lot of trunk space to deal with i think this is my best choice. Thanks everyone for there input. Now where do i purchase this sub? I found one on ebay for $229 shipped, that a good price for an re 12" sx?
