Sub question

Apart from having say 2 12" subs...is there a benefit to having an additional 2 10" woofers for any musical "notes" to play that are between the 12's and the components? or is that just a no-no or no difference..thanks!

darnit..forgot to mention this up top....so you are saying that midbass is unnecessary or not necessary in this type of setup..? When if at all would MidB be appropriate? Please see past the NooB ignance...thanks.

Midbass is very good, but a set of midbass drivers will do that work, not a sub, and definately not a 10" sub.

Yup, your front speakers should be able to handle the midbass frequencies.

was thinking of the CDT HD642 set...going all out with SQ here....have currently 3 Infinity amps in my PT..... 2 Beta Digital 100's running Kicker Comps up fron and back and 1 Beta Digital 300 bridged with 1 Kicker solobaric 12"..(I think), been awhile since I've been back there. They work awesome still in the 3 or so years that I've had them...but can't find anymore amps (new) to add more power. So I went and bought 4 Rockford amps...2 for subs and 2 for front and back. Any suggestions on subs??? Kicker's new L7's? XXX's?

i'd be leaning more towards XXX's for all out SQ...although there are some sick L7 SQ installs out there.

i got two 2004 10' kicker L7s for sale that would fit that install well in a sealed box
