Sub question***

I have an Suv, but instead of taking up a bunch of room in the back and building a box and what not I was wondering if putting in 6 inch subs into my back doors would suffice instead of a sub in the back. I hate the huge boomy sound that I've heard from a bunch of systems and I figure two six inch subs wouldnt make that noise, and would hit the lows I want. Plus they would be easier to power. Would this be worth my time and money, or just go with a sub? I have a pair of Kicker KS60.2 in the front so I was thinking of just giving them the highs and giving the subs in the back doors the lows

You will only get so much "low" from a 6" sub. I think you will want a sub. Why not just go with a 8" in a small sealed box? You would only need a 1 cf box at most. Wouldn't take up much room.

I figured it'd be less strain on the electric system and compliment the components nicer than a huge sub, I have plenty of space so if I were to get an eight inch sub, I'd just do it big and get a 12 or 15

well I was looking at a ssd12 i dont really know anything about building boxes though so I figured itd just be easier with the two 6 inches in the rear doors

Two 6's mounted in doors arent going to give you the sub-bass you're looking for...

As much as this forum discourages it, you can get away with buying a sealed pre-fab box from ebay, at least make sure its 1.25 cuft.

Yeah, like tuning the box and all that shit, idk how to do that shit haha, id rather pay for it
