I'm looking at replacing and upgrading my speakers in my 2nd gen Eclipse, Currently I'm working on fabracating new speaker pods in my headliner over the driver and passenger seats. I'll be putting some 3 or 4 Inch mids there, and a pair of 6inch Mids in the Doors.
My question is I'm trying to be as stealth as possiable with my componits and replacments, I'm looking for a way to place some form of sub in the Rear speaker locations, which are 6.25 inch and not very deep:
Could I use a pair of decent Full range speakers for Base only, or is there anyone that makes a 6" shallow Sub I could place in this cubby. I'ld pack the area around the speakers back side so as to inclose it as much as possiable.
I'm not really Looking for earth shaking Thump, and don't really listen to my music real loud, but clarity is very important even at high levels. I also am tring to avoid a sub enclosure in the car as I have very limited room in the trunk space as it is!
