Sub mounting tips and tricks suggestions...por favor?

Ok so I just recently sold a sub to a friend and it got jacked out of his closed garage. (yes it was closed) But since this has happened I am a little concerned about the security of the subs that Im going to buy this summer. I am asking you guys if there are any tips or tricks that you have that would make it next to impossible for someone to jack my subs. I know I could use car alarms and square or diamond screws. I am just wondering if there is some other way that works well. And yes I always lock my car lol

and yes I have read the threade about how to avoid getting your subs jacked =P

I use hex screws to screw in subs and use atleast 3 L brackets to bolt box to floor using hex, flathead, just all types of screws so they better bring the whole tool box..

Ah good thinking, these subs will be in a wall, guess thats safer, except for the fact its more obvious...

All types of screws, and invest in a gun so when you catch them in the act u will be ready

Don't worry, TJ is just mad cus Payton sold his amp. I am too.

And them being in a wall is a pretty good security measure. Now it just looks like you have to use enough irregular screws to stop them from being able to get them out. star, hex, square. I can't think of anything else unless you never want to take them out without destroying the box, then you could always seal them in with loctite or something.

then tint ur windows and get a good alarm...there is no full proof way to make sure subs cant get taken......

On a side note: do you guys think window tint attracts thieves or what? I know it prevents them from seeing inside easily, but doesnt it also make them think you have something to hide?

doesnt matter what screws you use.... a sawzall blade will zip right through them. if they are smart enough to use a sawzall
