Another Ported or Sealed question

I know this topic has been touched on before, but I just wanted a few opinions. What would be perceived as louder? Two Skar vvx 12's in a sealed enclosure with 1 cube net each, which is the recommended air space for them, or Just one of the 12's in a vented enclosure around 2 cubes? I think it might be a wash, with the sealed enclosure having twice as much cone area, but I know vented is just a whole lot more efficient. Thanks.

I would like to ideally use both of them in a ported enclosure like I had in my Jeep. I traded it for an 02 silverado extd cab. I put a sub thump sealed prefab under the back seat. For a prefabbed sealed, it actually does ok. I have thought about doing a seat raise, but I don't know how high I would have to go to get 3.5 cubes net for a ported enclosure. My baby rides back there and it has to be safe. But to answer your question Buck, I would probably just use what I have equipment wise.

Due to safety reasons for the little one, I think I'll have to give up on the two twelves ported. Someone mentioned fox acoustics boxes in another thread and I looked at their site. They have a vented dual 10 box that is tuned to 36 hz. Again, I know it's prefab but it definitely looks interesting. The two areas of concern would be the port area and the clearance for the subs. Anybody happen to have any experience with these boxes?
