Sub in NEW car SE12 or 10

I will have a Rockford T2000bd for the power. I measured and drew up a box that would fit. It cam out to 3@35hz. On the RE site it says optimum for the 10 is 1.25 cubes but for the 12 it's a minimum of 1.5, what would you choose to eat up the power?
