Too much power? need opinions!

I have a sundown 1500d runnning on good electrical, do you think thatll be to much for a 15 in. Q with the bp option? Itll be sealed up so ittle get some good dampning formt he box.....

Is a MTX TA 7801 also too much power? I do NOT have the BP option for my 18"... I know the MTX is only 1200 wrms but it actually puts out over 1600 wrms.. it is way underrated!!
