Sub Hitting Dull

Sub randomly started hitting very dull. Like its set at a very high frequency, which I'm confused on. I checked all the wiring, checked all my settings on both my head unit and my amp. Now what I did notice is it stopped for about a day when i switched aux cords, but went back to doing it. I tried the usb input from my phone, and got the same result. Now i'm thinking the reason for this is that the head unit is messed up. The blue tooth also went out on the head unit, I have no clue how. Just looking for some more input, and what I should troubleshoot with

It sounds like its at a high frequency, just out of nowhere. Wont hit near as deep as it has been. Bothering the hell out of me

Are you sure its not the recordings? Bluetooth from youtube is stupid. Its ****** playback most times..

Download testtones and see if whe woofer will actually play them..

I use napster, its weird. Its always worked just fine. I havent been using youtube at all.

Do an aux to rca test from your phone straight to the amp to see if its signal/head unit related.

By dull I mean it will not hit deep at all

Aux plugs to phone

Rca to sub amp

Play music
