So my Subwoofer only turns in when at a high volume. then if i turn down the volume it stays on. Is there a setting that i have set to high or something that causes it not to turn on at low volume. When i say high volume i mean 15 or higher and low i mean 10 or lower. Please help he, it is getting really annoying having to turn it up load for a second to get the sub to work only to turn it back down to a good listening volume.

when people ask these questions i just wonder about the installation. Do you have all wires secured and the rca's hooked up correctly on the amp and head unit. Blue in red and

white in white.

see the think is that this just recently started to happen. i Have had everything installed for about 6 months now and with in the last month is when this all started to happen. So unless a wire came loose somewhere that i can not see, it is all hooked up right. i have checked all visible wires, without taking out my deck.

Check your amp ground and power wires, check the speaker wiring etc, the gain on the amp may need to be reset, what is the crossover pt, there are many factors that can be causing this, if possible try another sub to see if the same thing is happening, maybe the sub or the amp is defective.
