Sub help pioneer shallow subs

Hello was just wondering I have 2 TS-SW2501S2 2 ohms subs an a class d pioneer GM-D7500M mono amp with a Sony explode cd deck was wondering whats the best way to wire them I was told so many different ways I want them to pound what do I have to do I'm new to all this

Unfortunately, you cannot use that amp to its full potential. It is only two ohm stable. Having two 2-ohm subs means you will end up with either a 1 or 4 ohm impedance, depending on how you wire. You cannot wire at 1 ohm to that amp, or you will burn it up.... so that leaves using it at 4 ohms and only getting 200 watts out of it. It might be louder to use one sub and get the 400 out of it at 2 ohms, but that would exceed the rms rating of the sub, so you are better off just using both and wiring them in a series.

Wire them like this:

edit: I would recommend selling/trading that amp for one that makes 600 watts rms at 1 or 4 ohms..

You can look around the classifieds for good deals, but if you must buy new, a hifonics brutus 1700 puts out 600w at 4 ohms and you have plenty of headroom to upgrade in the future

That looks like good one is it worth the money or should I shop around

Thanks everyone for the help that Hifonics amp was looking at the specs and it can be bridged down to 1 ohm could I do that to make them sound better

If you parallel your subs down to one ohm on that hifonics amp, the amp will no longer put 600w to them, but will instead give them 1700w and blow them to smithereens. Either get a big amp and wire into 4 ohms. Or get a small amp that can do 600w at one ohm.
