Sub Firing Question.

I just ahd new boxs made, and i guess i calculated wrong and i cant hav ethe 2 boxs facing foward, but ican have one sub firing left and one right. Can i do this? or will it sound bad? there would be room for air still, jsut the fring position would be changed. Any suggestions would help, thanx!
