Diamond vs MTX

Allright I'm trying to decide b.t these two systems:

2 12' D9's on a Rockford 2000w amp (1,771)

2 12' 9500's on a Rockford 200w amp (1,597)

Which would be the best for spl, and sql? Also I was wondering if the sq is bad on 9500's?

SQ is decent on the 9500's, not the absolute best, but it holds it's own. It is a very loud woofer though.

i like my mtx 9500's alot take a beating but like stratus said they arent the greatest for sq but peronsally i thinkm they have more sq than my L7's had so id say there pretty nice

ive ehard both and the d9 are just as loud as the 9500 with better sq. they are about twice as much money though

I dont see the comparison...

D9's sound excellent , 9500's sound like ***.....

I am buying online if it was from a sop it would be lk 750 per sub pluss around 1500 for the amp so it would be like 3000. I thaught thoes prices were prety good pluss woofersect.com is the only place I could find d9's

?? I was jsut saying online or authorized they are about twice as much. SOme people like to have warrentys as well. but yeah look on ebay, it is MUCH cheaper

i looked but i never find 2 12's so the shipping on buying 2 seperate adds up to be more then buying of woofersect.com

I foud the TDX on onlinecarstero.com for cheaper than i could get the D9's ($51 less a piece) should i get the tdx's over the d9's since they are basically the same thing?

Man, your 9500s must have been in a shitty install. 9500s do NOT sound like ***, in a proper setup.

9500's are SPL woofers,and yes SPL is not musical

hence it sounds like ***

TDX's and D9s are identical in every way ryan,just check the inventory on onlinecarstereo before you click BUY,they have a website thats not up to date

and has irronious sales - check with "the12vkings" on ebay,they are cheaper and a better seller

9500s are do not sound bad at all, i have mine in sealed box and i think it sound great

I would take the D9/TDX for sure.

There are differences between the D9 and the TDX, but none worth 51$
