Sub direction

Just picked up a 12w7 in a ported box, the port is across the top if that matters, I was wondering which way I should aim the box in my accord. Wondering I there Is a difference in SPL and or SQ whether it was facing trunk or cabin.

It can make a huge difference depending on vehicle. Test.

most of the times yes. sometimes the direction of the subs can greatly affect how deep or loud your subs sound to your ear.
