sub direction

facing the cabin or toward the back of the car anyone lookin for a quick response.....

if it faces the back i was wondering if i should have it ported through the ski hole

if it faces the cabin i was wondering if i should have it ported out of the rear deck

any additon idea would be nice...i know this might go in the box buidling section but looking for a quick response...

What do you mean, ported through the ski hole.. and the deck for that matter?

Do you mean leave it open? Or do you mean running a port through the actual ski hole?

Put your box all the way against the back seat and have the subs facing out.

having the actual ports flowing through the ski hole cause it folds down and u have acess to the trunk....

what up dawg. without a question ur subs will sound the best if u fire them toward the rear of the car. that way the sound will shoot off of the rear of the trunk, reflect off of it, and it will come back toward u. the subs will also move more air, makin better sound pressure, so put them as close to the front of the trunk as u can. it wouldnt hurt to line ur trunk with some dynamat either, u will get tighter and cleaner bass. peace.
