sub direction on eagle talon

what direction should I point my box in my eagle talon cuz the whole back opens with glass and all so i don't know if sub pointing toward glass or back would be louder

i have a XXX 12" hifonics brutus 1500 and mp3 panasonic deck

i used to have mine pointed strait back. i also took a piece of mdf and screwed it to the back wall(as big as the back wall) a shop told me this would add spl...i don't know if it did or not but it did sound cleaner do to everything not rattling as much.
