thats not pushing them that hard, when i get my viper mine will be seeing 1250w ea before impedence rise... but then again no one knows how he will set gains so go with a good 1kw amp.

Thats overdoing it for a daily setup, but have at it. Dont expect to have that sub for a long time pushing it with 1200+ watts for a daily system. For purping, then yea, but for everyday pounding, ide say watch the gains. Like i said before I sell type rs, and I am very much aware that it doesnt take 1000 watts to push it. 5-700 watts will do it just fine.

If your going to go with 2 12 type rs, then a good 1000-1500 watt amp would work just fine for you.

good call.....thats what i did and i couldnt be happier...
on that budget look into a power acoustik mofo 15 on ebay....great sub for the money...plenty of SPL....if you get a very clean amp then the SQ may not be half bad either.....

Lol actually the SQ will **** balls regardless of the amp.

If you really wanna get the Type R's get the Dual 4. It gives you more of a selection of amps.... Could go with any number of Mono amps 1200 x 1 @ 1 ohm or any number of 2-channels that can be bridged @ 4 ohms. Doesnt matter which one but it gives you more options.

How much are you lookin to spend by the way? That would be alot more helpful to show you what kind of amps you are talking about gettijng
