Sub Damage

I installed an amp and sub for my friend. He's got a 10" Kenwood bandpass box (BP110) running off a Kenwood 120 watt amp (529S). I've got it bridged and the sub is wired 4ohm. Whenever the sub is hooked up to the amp, it blows the amp fuse.

I know the amp is ok. I tried it on one of my Type Rs and it ran fine.

I hooked the sub up to one of my amps and it blew the amp fuse.

Anyone know what the damage is? Voice Coils? Blown Sub?

hmmm that's odd. I don't think the sub would be the thing blowing the fuse. What size is the fuse? Possibly its too small for the amp..im not sure tho

The fuse is 15A, the same rating that came with the amp.

I also tried the sub on my house receiver, it has built in curcuit protection. So if there was a problem with a speaker, it would shutoff and sure enough it did.
