Sub and amp specs

Hi everyone, ty to all those who have helped me so far. Here I go again.

I'm looking at a Rockford fish are sub - Rockford Fosgate P3D2-12 - 12" Punch 1200W DVC Subwoofer

It's 600rms and I found R.F. Amp which is 500rms @ 2ohms, I looked at the spec for the sub to see if it was 2ohms and it said it is dual 2ohms so I'm not sure what it means if the impedance of the sub is 2 or 4 or what. :-/

1 or 4. You would need the dual 4 version or a different amp.

Btw those subs are crap

I have two four channel alpine amps 125rms both with herts 165xl components, it's about 1000rms total but I can only have one 12" sub I'm more than open to sub and amp suggestions please share what you know

I have no idea what's I can get as an amateur i was thinking 400 got both and and sub but I'm enjoying my first build install and results so I can goto 600 700

$200 will get you a decent woofer

$200 will get you a decent amp

$200 will get you a good single 12 box which is the most important.

If your going for new FU audio has some good subs for good prices, my suggestion would be to look for a good deal on a used sundown SA 12" or JL w6/w7 12. You can (at least where I am) find these for around 300-500 for 1 and then if you got a JL Slash 500/1v2 or v1 doesn't really matter those are 150-300. So if you look for a deal you can stay well within budget and that would be a really nice set up IMO. But then again LosIsATool would know better then me. I guess it also matters if you want spl or sq. if sq focus on the w6/w7 if spl try for the w7, sundown, or FU audio.
