Sub amp without a crossover

I just got my Cadence z5000 amp, and it looks like it has no sort of crossover or anything on it. I was going to run it off a factory deck with a LOC, but doesn't look like I can do that now.

Would I be better getting a headunit and crossing it over with the headunit, or buying some sort of external crossover/eq setup?

Setup consist of

CDT EFCFi components

CDT HD1220 Sub

Cadence q3000 100x2 amp

Cadence z5000 750x1 amp

Buy a crossover, it will function much better than your deck

Any suggestion on a crossover?

For the harrison lab things, i'm running a 4 ohm DVC. 100hz would probably be pretty good, but would I need 4 ohm or the 8 ohm version?

I'm stupid and after I took the top cover off the amp, all the controls/crossover are underneath it.
