Sub/amp running at half power?

Ok a few days ago i noticed that my sub (12" Magnum) was much quieter and barely hitting low notes (like in Late Night Tip). My headunit is an Alpine 9835 and my amp is a Hifonics BX1000D.

The sub is wired at 1ohm in a 2 cube box tuned to 30hz. I thought I messed up something on my headunit so i reset it and that did not fix the problem. I checked all my xovers and subsonic filter on my amp and they are normal.

What could be causing this?

take out the sub and see if their is any damage to it, that's all i can think of to do right now, sorry dude
