ineed help on a sub amp i have to hifonics squre 12s i want the soundstream tarantula tra800.2 or the alpine mrd-m1005v12 or pg tantrum please help ????

I was refering to Taiwan or China, not Germany. And yes smartass, reliability for both BMW and Mercedes Benz has been sub par in recent years.

yes. we all know how unreliable Honda and Toyota are as well. But lets not start any stupid flame wars, theres nothing wrong with foreign products.

Wow you're thick. WHAT I WAS ASKING IS IF PHOENIX GOLD WAS A BETTER AMP WHEN IT WAS MADE HERE RATHER THEN WHAT IT IS NOW .I am not saying import stuff is bad this question is pg specific.

Nope. It just cuts down on production costs. Same quality parts are still used. Still the same great product like the have always been, and believe me ive owned many of the old and new equipment, so I know they are still top notch like in the 90s. The only thing that has fell off is maybe the looks. But they still look pretty good to me.
