sub/amp cutting out

is this a recent issue? just because the connections are secure doesn't mean the connections are good. it's like having a million dollar mansion and a **** wife, appears secure but she could be a ho and the mansion could have poor foundation

 
Okay, well the wiring is brand new last year, used the wires with another system and it worked fine. Got my new sub and amp and this started happening. I asked someone at best buy and the said my battery is probably dropping voltage because 1100 rms is too much for a a stock alternator. I'll probably just pick up a new alternator or a capacitor.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
