Sub Amp compatibility help.

Right now I have the mtx rtp251d amp and am wanting to hook it up to One RE Audio SR 12 sub. The amps primary rating is at 100W at 4 ohm and secondary is 200w at 2 ohm. Will my amp and the sub be compatible?

Also the impedence of the sub states that it is 2ohm and 4 ohm available, but it does not let me choose when I purchase it. Is there something I must do once I get it. Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I'm sure they let you choose the wiring config, might be on the order page or something. Just make sure you get the dual 4ohm version and you'll get the most out of the amp

Originally I was going to get the 2ohm since I thought the wattage output would be greater with my amp. Thanks a lot for letting me know to get the 4 ohm version.
