Problems with XM reception

Good moring. I have just installed an XM ready pioneer head unit which includes the appropriate XM tuner boxes. Initial startup showed everything working correctly with all the available channels were received and presets for XM channels were set and working well. Once the power for the car is turned off I still have the XM signal but the presets go to the set channels but revert back to channel 1. Ican only direct dial channels 1, 11, 21, and several over 122. Any idea what the problem is?

check to make sure that the xm tuner box has a good ground and has an always on connection to your battery. i had a similar problem with mine because my power wire for the tuner was wired into the ignition power wire. when the car turned off, the xm tuner looses power, therefore reverts to channel 1. if this doesn't work, maybe there is a problem with your subscription.
