Stripped Knu battery terminal

My neg terminal is stripped and was wondering if this happened to anyone else? and how can i fix it? Do i get a new allen or can i rethread it. I need some advice!

pull the entire wire nut out, and cut a slot in the top of it and just use a flat head in the future

The head of the bolt is rounded.. Or the threads on the bolt/terminal are stipped?

Either the threads on the bolt or the block...or both, are stripped. There isn't much you can do, unless it's just the bolt, in which case you can just replace it if you can find one that'll fit.

go to the autoparts store and get a tap threader, you can buy the whole set or just buy a single tap, looks like this= http://www.natool.com/engdata/data09.php

or the have what they call heli-coil threaded inserts either way you will be drilling and tapping...may very well turn out to be cheaper to buy a new terminal:crazy: unless you have this stuff on hand
