He was not just beat but TKO(he was out cold though).

Rumor is strikeforce is done after Feb of next year anyway. Many of the fighters have been released as well. Some of course will try to fit in with UFC but many will go to m1 global, will a few others will try to start up something new and fail lol.

IMO, if they want MMA to keep growing and getting more mainstream they need to consolidate the different leagues. I mean you don't see multiple professional leagues for pretty much any other sport. So if the UFC kind of absorbs Strikeforce (I know they already own them) I think that's probably a step in the right direction.

I agree with the idea of a single large mma corporation, however, I just don't see ufc being a good example. I do enjoy their events and fighters, but they company is ran about like america is haha.

What about women fighters? UFC said never and so far they are sticking to that.

All the UFC does is get worried because another company is doing well and they go flex some cash muscle and shut it down. They are more worried about cornering the market and maximizing their profit potential. Not that I wouldn't do the same in their position, but in the end everyone will lose.

Well said, I definitely agree. I just said it was a step in the right direction, not necessarily the final solution. At some point those reasons are going to start hindering the UFC's growth. Maybe at that point Dana will realize he needs to make some changes if he wants to keep growing.
