strapping amps

I have a hifonics hfi1500d and I'm thinking about buying a second so I can double the power, how would I go about strapping them together?

I have been told you have to use some Maxxlink cables to hook them up. I'm also under the impression that you can only strap the BRX-BRZ line 2100 watts and up only. I'm sure the colossus line should work too. This is from what I've been told...

maxxlink or sell and get a 3k amp.

i would do the latter because maxxlinks are discontinued and are kind of rare to come by.

Would it be better to get a better quality amp with lower power? Or a cheaper one with higher?

Better quality amp lower power doesn't mean you would get 3k out of a higher end 1500watt amp

You could go with a half ohm stable amp like an opti 2601 or 3201 and get 3k at a half ohm cheaper

Decide which you value more, power or sound quality. I'm a big sound quality guy but for me the Hifonics amps meet the quality and price point.
