Thinking of buying the dual skar evl 12 box and subs. I have stock electrical 160 amp alternator but im gonna b doing the big 3 upgrade with 0 gauge. The package comes with the rp2000.1 amp but im problably gonna buy everything seperate underpower them and go with the rp1500 watt amp since i only have stock alt. Will i still need an agm battery? If so any reccomendations on the brand and size. Im doing this just for now until i can afford a 320 amp alt and the skv3500 amp.

Would you be able to acquire the SKV3500 now? You can always set the gains low so it does not draw as much power.

So if i went ahead and bought the 2 skar evl 12s, the rp3500.1 amp, 0 gauge wire and big 3 upgrade, what alt and 2nd battery would push that amp and say a 500 watt amp for dash and door speakers?

A 350a + alternator would be your best bet. Glowe Voltage batteries have gotten great reviews and they do not break the bank. As stated above, the Glowe Voltage battery may be enough. Visit the website and judge for yourself, see if it fits your needs.

Would it kill my alt and battery?

If you turn down the gain, the amp will not put out or draw as much energy so the alternator and battery should be ok until you upgrade.
