Ok, i've got a question then.
See how much actual distortion you have when you do get to the magical 7kw...not whats posted on the website.
The way they are doing tings is a very cheap and easy way to get a lot of power. Which dBdraggers and such could care less about distortion and cone control, they can make the enclosure control the cone to an extent, and the mic reads distortion just the same as it reads any power...
Don't care what you say, you can talk until your blue in the face. You simply cannot tell me that that amplifier will be anywhere near remotely clean as the crown a6000gti or even the new warhorse from Kicker.
You give up a looooooooooooot of control when you start monkeying around with the output stage as they have. Power is power for many people, the more they can get..fantastic. Sadly in a daily driving scenario..power isn't necessarily 'power'. Control and distortion reins supreme...
And yes, i've messed with the amps before you jump the gun. Spoken with quite a few legendary amp designers...they seem to see what i do and hear what I do. I'm trying to figure out whether it's a smoke cloud and a name brand bias, which in car audio is generally the case. Just seems awful coincidental that everybody who runs the amps seems to run all the same equipment as Dante...big deal, he's loud at 72Hz...
Make a woofer and a amp that'l do a 160 at 30Hz on music and THAT is impressive
