VERY surprised by $20 ebay sub

anywho, I wanted a cheap set up in the car

I was really lucky and found a box for 2 10" subs at CC for 15 bucks,it was new and looked ok

15 bucks so far

Bought a type E from ebay for 20 bucks

bought a rockford power T3002 for 80

got wire for 30

so far im at $145 which is amazingly cheap

The type E sounded like it was blown so I looked on ebay and found this

When I got the sub I noticed the sub looked way beefier than the type E.

I hooked it up and man does it sound ......ok

Its rated at like 200rms but is taking ~400 rms the entire drive to and from work

I was really impressed at how well the sub sounds though.

It gets decently low and doesnt sound to boomy.

Id give it a solid 6 out of 10

I have ran DD,Fi,Audiomobile,Tc sounds, and numberous others,mtx,infinity

I would say its about the same as a entry level to mid level infinity or an mtx 5000

for $20 its worth it

Im not sure if they make 15s

well atleast not in the "budget" series

maybe in the higher series

My brother used a Kicker IX2302 bridged on his type e 12 he ran for a little bit... Those that know anything about older impulse series kickers knows that that is 900 watts to the type e... He was easy on the gains and the sub really sounded nice... Still got it sitting in a box...
