It's 3/4" MDF laminated with:

Natural Brushed Aluminum Exterior

Aluminum Polished Metal Mirror Interior

1/2" Lexan Windows

Ah ok, I was wrong then. I thought I read a post on another forum saying it was solid aluminum.

I wonder what would happen in a sealed box with sound deadner inside of it? any difference outside of it?

The sound deadening would help mass load the enclosure, but it's about the least cost and acoustically effective way to do it. Putting bracing perpendicularly to the sides of the enclosure would do far more than just covering the inside with deadener, and cost a lot less.

No, the outer corners of the enclosure were routed flush and filed smoothe and clean.
