I was just wondering if any one has done this before, and yes I know its not practicle but it would be cool.
Hood status, but w/e floats your boat mang.i think when i attempt and build my first ported box if it comes out decent im going to put mirrors outward facing instead of paint or carpet. I havnt seen that too often and i think that would be kind of neat
i've seen it all too often, but looks good if you're subs got a fat *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gifi think when i attempt and build my first ported box if it comes out decent im going to put mirrors outward facing instead of paint or carpet. you think so? I dunno just thought it might be cool and to the guy below you i think he is thinking mirror inside the box because the way i was talking you wouldnt be able to see the "***" of the subs. They would be fully covered with mdfHood status, but w/e floats your boat mang.
wouldnt show the motor, if the mirrors face OUTWARD (the outside of the box...)i've seen it all too often, but looks good if you're subs got a fat *** //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
btw, why the fuuck would you want a steel box
Email Phil and ask him if you're skeptical.I seriously doubt that thats solid alluminum, that would have to weigh like 600 pounds, and its just something different, wouldnt have to worry about it breaking.
Have you seen the box in person? If you look at the pictures you can see the MDF in side the sub cutouts. It's MDF wrapped in AL inside and out. Beautiful work. To make that from solid Al would weigh hundreds of pounds and cost several thousands of dollars in materials. It's sitting on a plastic garbage can. The can wouldn't hold that enclosure if it was solid Al.It's solid aluminum.
